Aqueduct Road Communal Bakehouse

There was a communal bakehouse in Aqueduct Road which stood until it was demolished around 1980. It was probably built in the early 1800s financed by Sir George Beaumont to serve his tenants living in the surrounding cottages. It's not known when it was last used.

There was also a communal oven in The Woolrooms.
