Articles and books about Coleorton heritage and social history

Members of the Group have written a number of articles about their particular interest and research into Coleorton history. We regularly contribute to St Mary's Church magazine which is published monthly (sign up to receive magazine by email >>).

We also contribute to local magazine Community Voice. The December 2020 issue carries the story of the Huntingdon Beaumont, Coleorton's great mining and railway innovator, who sadly died bankrupt in Nottingham gaol. Read about him here >>

Coleorton Calendars

For the last two years we have produced a Coleorton Calendar each including 12 colour photos of local places. Sales of our A4 wall calendar help the Group's funds to pay for events, research and publications. Unfortunately we were not able to produce a calendar for 2021, but hope to resume next year with a 2022 calendar. See the photos from previous years >>
